WeeeeeeeeHo, by Bike!!!!

I had a GREAT bikey-bike experience last night!!

Last night I biked to Le Petit Hotel from my rehearsal at The Next Stage. I googled the trip in advance and found that it would be a pretty straightforward 3 mile trip down Santa Monica from La Brea to San Vicente.

I prepped for the party mostly before the trip, putting on eye make-up and bronzer at the theater, and changing into my short summer dress. Everything else I needed, including a bit of foundation, my strapless bra and my heels, was tucked away in the back pack. Since I started the trip right around 5:30, the sun was starting to set, and it was cool and breezy out there.

The ride there was easy as pie. I rode on the mostly-vacant sidewalk down Santa Monica and tossed out giggly "thank yous" to passerby's that complemented my pink hat.

I was really worried about the ride back because I knew it would be up hill the entire three miles....BUT
to my utter amazement, the trip back was no harder than the trip there! It was one of those situations in which going down hill was easy, but going back up the slight incline was like going on flat ground!

Overall, it was a really fun experience (hence the "Weeeeeeee" in my title) and surprisingly easy!
